The Dark Knight

Today, we watched The Dark Knight at The Podium. It stars Christian Bale as Batman, Heath Ledger as The Joker and Aaron Eckhart as Two-Face. It's a very cool, entertaining movie, with great special effects. My favorite scene was the one with the two boats :) It's my best movie so far! :)

Lunch at CPK Trinoma

Today, my officemates and I had lunch at CPK Trinoma. We feasted on Clam Chowder, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Classic Caesar Salad, Jambalaya, BBQ Chicken Pizza, California Club Pizza and Portobello Mushroom Ravioli. But what I loved the most were the Fettucine with Garlic Cream Sauce and White Pizza, yummm! :D I also loved the Raspberry Ice Tea, wherein I had two refills. I repeat, two refills. Hahaha! I was super bochog after eating for an hour. And if that wasn't enough, we headed to Conti's for some dessert. ;)

Brangelina twins born

Hooray for my fave movie star Angelina Jolie for bringing two beautiful babies to this world - although I haven't seen the pics yet Hahaha! :) News taken from MSN:

Jolie, 33, gave birth to the twins on July 13 Saturday evening during a half-hour caesarean operation at a maternity clinic in Nice on the French Riviera. Knox Leon weighed 2.27 kilos (five pounds) and Vivienne Marcheline 2.28 kilos.

It's amazing to know she had CS operation with Shiloh and now with the twins, yet her body in Wanted is perfectly-shaped. May pag-asa pa ako! Hahaha! :D

MC Reunion at 1401 Astoria

It was all food and good conversation when my good college friend, Ana, came home from the US for her annual visit. Ana is the sweetest kikay person I know and I like her very much because we have so many things in common. :)

I had to tuck the twins to bed so I came in at 9pm bringing my alfredo linguini. Everyone just finished eating so my pasta was kept for the midnight chatter. My friends brought their kids along and they were in one room with their yayas and the playstation.

In the meantime, we huddled over the big dining table with topics about pregnancy, giving birth, marital and extra-marital stories. I was quiet on the last topic as I have nothing to contribute, thank you Lord!

There were lots of singing and laughter, too. With songs from "My heart will go on" to "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" and guess who was singing "his" night away? Hehe, it was surely a fun night! :)

One day is definitely not enough for all the kwentuhan so we are seeing each other again this Friday with me hoping not to be late, haha! :P Oh, and would somebody please bring some coffee! :D

Hancock

I didn't enjoy I Am Legend so I swore to myself I would never watch another Will Smith movie. It turns out the only reason why I hated the film is because it was a scary movie and I hate scary movies. Period. :) I was hesitant to watch Hancock because I had the impression that it was a corny hero movie made spectacular by the special effects and presence of Will Smith. And I didn't want to pay P300 just to watch it.

Well, I enjoyed it! :) And my fave scene was when he came in flying wearing the black costume to rescue everyone in the bank. Good job! Hehehe :) I enjoyed Hancock more than Wanted, so thank you hunny, for convincing me to watch this great movie, mwah! :)

Wanted

We watched Wanted today and it was a fast-paced, action-packed, very entertaining film, starring my fave movie star Angelina Jolie. I'd say my favorite scene was the MRT scene or the LRT scene or whatever they call it, hehe.. the one where they would jump on the train and bend backwards so they wont hit the bridge. Angelina lies gracefully on her back, and may I say her make-up in the movie is perfect, her hair is always perfect. Hmp. Hehehe. Oh, and I liked the twist at the end.

I was kinda depressed after the movie hahaha coz I can totally relate to the lead guy Wesley (James McAvoy). Keith would tell me, "Nag-m-midlife crisis ka na ba? Ang aga pa ah.. 4 months early pa" Bwahaha coz im turning 30 on November. Salbahe. :P
